Introduction
The Society of Sarawakians Writing in English was officially registered on August 28th, 2002.
Objectives
- to cultivate a general interest in the art of writing of any genre
- to encourage local writers to write through organising activities such as writing contests, workshops, seminars, talks etc.
- to promote research activities with special emphasis on the social and cultural aspects of Sarawak
- to foster a closer relationship among local writers who are residing in Sarawak.
